on Thursday, July 29
The Belle Tones are inspired by the great girls groups of the 1930s through the 80s, most notably The Andrews and McGuire Sisters.
They are all Pennsylvanian girls who grew up in West Reading, Shillington, and Emmaus. Jenny and Amy performed together at Genesius Theatre. Laura and Amy have performed together at Muhlenberg College, PA, and Richie Cecere’s Supper Club in NJ.
The girls are all strong individual performers having performed in local productions, regional theater, aboard cruise ships, in Atlantic City showrooms, on television, and in feature films.
The Belle Tones have performed The National Anthem for The Philadelphia Phillies, (twice), The NY Red Bulls, and for over 30 Minor and Independent Baseball League Teams. They have also won several National Anthem competitions. They are among the favorite performers for The Reading Royals, Fightin Phils., Reading Express, and Reading United Soccer yearly.
They have performed with Joe Piscopo for the NJ State Troopers Wounded Warriors, and K9 Warriors Charity events. The girls have performed at VFWs, American Legions, 55+ Senior Residencies, and for various Charities in NJ, PA, and NY. The PA VFW State Conference has also enjoyed these talented ladies and they recently received rave reviews following their PA State Fair Convention Showcase in Hershey, PA in January 2016.
